When do you use make? Use make for constructing, creating or building something new or to indicate the origin of a product or the materials. Ex. The house was made of wood. Wine is made from grapes. The watches were made in Japan. Use make for producing an action or reaction. Ex, Onions make your eyes water. You make me happy. Use make for plans and decisions. Ex. make the arrangements, make a choice. Use make with nouns about speaking and certain sounds. Ex. make a comment, make a noise, make a speech. Use make with Food, Drink and Meals. Ex. make a cake, make a cup of tea,  make dinner.
